What
is colostrum?
According to the United States
Department of Agriculture colostrum is defined as the secretion
from the mammary gland of mammals during the first few days
after parturition. In the dairy industry, secretions from
the cow's udder for one day after parturition are commonly
referred to as colostrum. Secretions produced on the second
and third day after parturition are called transition milk.
Colostrum differs from normal milk in many ways. It is markedly
higher in solids, fat, protein, vitamins, and IG, and lower
in lactose. The amount of solids and protein (especially Ig)
declines rapidly after the first few days, so that by day
4 the milk reaches normal compositions.

Will Colostrum
help me gain muscle?
Colostrum contains growth factors,
including IGF-l, which has a strong growth stimulating effect
on muscle tissue. Colostrum also boosts immune factors helping
to reduce infections and other complications that sometimes
occur due to intense physical workouts. In addition colostrum
helps your gastrointestinal tract process the nutrients from
your food more efficiently, so you are getting more fuel from
the food you eat and aiding in your muscles to grow.

Will Colostrum help
me burn fat?
Colostrum is beneficial for burning
fat and reducing weight. The body requires immunoglobulins
F1 (IgF-1) to metabolize fat for energy. With aging, less
IgF-1 is produced by the body. Colostrum provides a good source
of IgF-1 as a complementary therapy for successful weight
loss.

Will Colostrum
help me look younger?
Colostrum contains the essential
growth hormones, Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, that significantly
reduces the effects of aging and can even counteract signs
of aging that have already occurred. Higher hormone levels
reduce body fat, increase heart health, add to bone density,
increase lean muscle and improve the feel and appearance of
skin.

When can I expect
results?
As no two people are alike,
results will vary from person to person based on your current
health and the amount of colostrum you take regularly.
Some people begin to notice the benefits of taking colostrum
in as little as one week, others it takes as long 3 or 4 weeks
or more. Maximum improvements will take longer and may
take several months. We recommend you take colostrum
for at least three months before you decide it is not helping.

Are the calves
at the dairies where colostrum is collected getting
enough colostrum?
Yes. A US dairy cow has such
a superior diet and environment that it produces great quantities
of milk. And after birthing it also produces great quantities
of colostrum. A newborn calf can only drink about a
quart of colostrum per milking. We collect the
excess colostrum, and the calf always gets enough. Click
here to read it for yourself in the Merck
Veterinary Manual on the second
paragraph.

Why is U.S.A. made
Colostrum better?
Our colostrum is collected within
the US from Grade A Dairy cows which are exposed to the same
allergens and pathogens as are the people living in the United
States and Canada are, and are building up immunities and
anti-allergens to these specifically. If you buy colostrum
from cows living in another country they have built up immunities
to pathogens and allergens that you may never be exposed to,
unless you go to that country. In addition grass only fed
cattle suffer from nutrient, vitamin, and mineral depravation
due to their incomplete diets, which affects the quality of
the colostrum. Our colostrum is collected only from
carefully selected USDA certified Grade A Dairy farms which
use a carefully monitored supplemental feeding systems in
order to insure the heard is receiving all the nutrients,
vitamins, and minerals the cows need in order to produce the
most potent nutrient rich colostrum available anywhere.
In addition our colostrum is collected from the very best
dairies from a large multitude of states in order to insure
that our colostrum is enriched with imunibodies and antibodies
which will boost the immunity of people who take it living
all over North America.

Why is it important
for colostrum to be made at a USDA regulated plant?
In order to maintain USDA licensure
a company must adhere to stringent government standards of
health and consumer safety and are inspected to insure they
are in compliance. This includes testing for biological
toxicity and absence of pathogenic microbes and antibodies.
Continual monitoring and certification by the USDA ensures
that the plant consistently provides the safest and most efficacious
colostrum on the market. If you buy colostrum produced
in a foreign country or colostrum from a non-USDA certified
facility, you cannot be guaranteed any of level of safety
in the product you are buying.
